After years of having practically no rear brake on my GP I decided to try to sort it. Found out that the drum was only connecting with about 1 inch of shoe which explained why it didn't even slow me down. Anyhow, I stuck some sandpaper to the drum stuck it on, sparked it up (on an axle stand), set a high tickover and gradually adjusted the brake up. So after a lot of dust I stripped and rebuilt and took it for a test, it now skids on hard braking. I am well impressed 8-)
