Hi all, I've just fitted a new MB speedo drive to my scoot and I'm having a few probs. I fitted the worm drive flush with the top of the hub. I've reassembled it all and when I spin the wheel by hand it turns freely for almost a whole turn but then it grabs. It's working because I put a small Allen key in the end and it turns with the hub ok. This is obviously going to affect the speedo reading ( SIP speedo ). Any ideas please? Thanks Pete.
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.

i fitted the mb one to my ScootRS disc brake - to get it to work correctly i did not knock it flush with the hub - it was left proud by about 3mm - i then put a larger spacer between the hub and backplate - worked really well ......
i changed to a anti dive set up (retro fit kit - reuse hub new backplate) and had to knock the ring flush with hub to get it all to line up - it all worked on the stand but shredded the drive on the road within a minute
thats this weekends job to sort it out
