following on from my gearing post previously,
im now considering ditching the long stroke and will keep my 57mm mec eur race crank in instead,
from the amount of forums posts etc, saying long stroking a malossi can be troublesome,
im inclinded to just use the crank i have,
im looking to keep the standard si 24 carb though and run it with a polini venturi,
will the malossi 210 perform alright on the motorway to get to rallies, with the standard carb with venturi on it,
i will look to get it dynoed to get it set up correctly,
plus then it leaves me the option to put a bigger carb on at a later date if necessary,
long stroke or not

Mine is fine with the standard carb and the venturi air filter ,will sit at 70 all day long ,has a be10 plug mind which might be worth carrying for long runs on the motorway

Not sure off the top of my head but i know i have a 130 main and it has a scorpion pipe .I put a 9 plug in for my use at the moment but will change to the 10 for long runs .I haven't used the whole venturi kit mind just the filter and i did get a bit of spitting of fuel on the overrun out the top of the carb but i sorted this by fitting a standard filter frame without the actual filter stuff in it ,i just burnt that off .
It will easy do 80 but becomes very light at the front
