I've just taken delivery of an AF 6 plate race cassette clutch but not from Rayspeed as they didn't have any 46's in stock.
They are supposed to be billet aluminium but it looks like cast and has what looks like pitting or air bubbles to the underside.
There are no AF or SURFLEX markings and I have a suspicion it may be the road clutch.
Does anybody know if there are any immediately noticeable differences between the 2 units

Cheers in advance

Paid £400 for it and when checked the Rayspeed clutch page the Race shows an AF logo to the top and a Surflex logo to the bottom.
The metal on the bottom looks all aerated like the metal those cheap fork links are made from.

I'd say that's cast...

Looks like the road one.

For £400 sovs, I'd expect that to be skimmed at least, even though it's not seen. Rough as feck.

That is 100% NOT the race version. I have the race version fitted and it has Surflex printed on the top plate. Contact the seller and demand a refund He's taking the p**s!
