TS1 clutch

I have just fitted a franspeed supertour to my TS1 230. I have got a 4 plate surflex in with cam lam comp spring in . Was ok when I had a jl3 on . Had it dynoed yesterday it made 21.5 bhp on a standard tune . Took it out for a run today in to wind clutch slipped at any thing over 6000 revs . Was ok on dyno to about 9000 revs . What was be the best 5 plate to replace the 4 plate ??? ta col

gone through all this myself,took the plunge and bought the af cassette clutch.solved!

I'd go along with that. I tried almost every clutch with no success, fitted the AF one and bingo sorted.

I have li set up will the af fit or is it made for gp's ? ta col

Hi M8,
the af cassette clutch will fit a li side casing you need a special part to convert but i found i had still problems converted to gp casing and kickstart assembly and it was sorted.there are other clutchs like rochedo,camlams and readspeed. hope this helps m8 the clutch is great you just drop it in and fly away with a big smile

Have ordered an af clutch from Andy francis today very helpful chap . :D thanks for help col 8-)
