My lad has a PX malossi 166 with a Sterling exhaust. He wants to change the pipe , but he's not sure which would be the best option.
Any opinions on this?
Cheers in advance.

Its a pretty standard set up.......matched and ported, with a cut crank. Standard carb and gearing. He mainly uses it for commuting and the odd rally.
He wants to keep up with the big boys, but it needs to be reliable.
Whats that I hear you say........buy an auto? No way Pedro!

I don't know anyone who has ever used a malossi pipe .It also depends on how he wants to ride the scoot ,a revolver will give good mid to top end power but something like a sip road will give more bottom and mid range power

make sure he is happy to rev the scooter before you spend money, the amount of people that take off a revolvers / jl right handers as they cant accept the loss of the lazy low revs from a box pipe
