Gasket question

Lads quick question i am doing the squish on a 225 kit and need to add a 1mm base gasket to get it right am waiting a week for this to arrive and need to build this now in order to get to my clubs rally next week sooooo i have 2 x 0,5mm alloy base gaskets and some gasket sealer if i join the 2 gaskets to make a 1mm would it still seal ok or do i take my gayer to the rally .....

Using 2 alloy base gaskets is fine. You probably don't need the filler but a very fine smear on each as you fit them will make extra sure. Don't worry about trying to stick one to the other, the important thing is to get them both on whilst the sealant is still wet so that it forms a decent seal when compressed.

Adam bud thanks for advice yet again ....i have been sitting here updating and updating looking for an answer , was talking to biddy and guinea last week about biddys TV and taking on board some advice you gave Biddy to pass on to another mate of ours with a similar issue .... Anyhow thanks again bud am away now to get this built ....
