diagonal stripes ?

Im looking at having a couple of continuous diagonal stripes across the front of the leg shields & horn cast.. looks like I may encounter some difficulty over the horncast.. Ive seen the AF racepaint schemes which change direction in the centre of the horncast , but not continuous stripe.. anyone seen any pics of something similar... shape over the horn cast may force me to trash this if its gonna look shite.

I'd remove the horncast then put some wide making tape straight across the leggies in the shape and width you want, then put the horncast back on and link the masking tape across it to match up with the ends, then you'll get an idea of what it'll look like.
