Need a bit of advice, I have just fitted a 28mm PHBH to my lammy stage 4 200cc with a sterling pipe. I have been advised to run it with a 115 main jet and a X7 needle on the second clip. It had a 118 main in it and a X2 needle, I have swapped the main jet over but don't have any spare needles, will the X2 needle be ok for now? What do the different numbers mean? Is a X7 leaner or richer? Can't check how its running now cos of this shitty weather.

Excuse my ignorance, but when you speak of 1st or 2nd clip, is that from the top or the bottom?

The X2 needle is usually associated with the AV rang of atomisers. If you run an AS266 atomiser the X2 needle would be about right. With, say an AV264 the X7 would be somewhere near or X13 115/118 main is about right. There is no substitute for having it dynoed though.
