fist full splutter

scoot runs fine up to say half throttle but when I give it a fist full it hits a point in the revs were it starts to splutter and wont clear if I hold it open. I upped the main to a 128 which improved it but its still there, although if I put choke on it takes off like a scalded cat. Does this mean I need to go bigger on the main. Greatful for any pointers.

gp 150 WITH GT186 top end , 28mil phbh and a sterling pipe. jets are 264 atomiser 128 main and the other jet i no is the one that screws in next to the atomiser (pilot jet)? this one is a 50. it also has elec ignition (indian i think).

the fact that it runs better at all with the choke on means that its weak over 1/2 throttle ...a bigger main jet may correct this but it could be also that your atomiser/needle combination is weak also ...my advice is to get it on a dyno .
