Hi my mate has bought a newfren 22 tooth cosa clutch for his px125 dr180
i did hear of a problem with these that the slots in the basket are not deep enough and need filing out
the ones on his basket measure at 19.8 mm, now will this be alright or do i need to file down to 21

This is just my opinion.............
If you get a clutch compressor (only a couple of quid for a proper one, or else just use a bolt and a couple of big washers,) and compress the clutch slightly and then give it a shake up and down, if you hear the plates rattle it's ok, if not then take a bit out of the basket until it rattles...... works for me.
