Ive got a readspeed electronic kit, wired it up as told. it all works ok. But it doesn`t look right to me but im no expert in electrics? its the lighting wire coming out of the mag, that connects to the main loom and the rectifier. i would have thought it should go into the rec. and then out again to the loom, but there are only two wires and one of those is an earth?

Also could i connect a scootRS regulator to power a battery? (white wire to the yellow?) And would the power of this be stable enough to power a sat nav or phone charger?

Cheers Russ

I know it looks different to a vespa type regulator wiring but it is exactly the same. The only thing different about the vespa reg is that although it provides 2 tabs to connect to, they are infact joined together inside the unit. Therefore it would work in the same way if you connected the mag and loom wire together and only used one of the tabs, as the regulator is between the tabs and earth.
Yes, a battery fitted as shown should be fine for what you want.

If you only want to fit one fuse to protect all battery circuits it's easier to fit it into the battery earth wire. It's rating will depend on what you are going to supply from it.
