Got to wiring stage & scratching my head, would appreciate some help....have wired it as per instructions & as best as I can do the ignition/headset wiring but was getting a spark on all key turns (including off)...disconnected everything apart from the stator/rectifier/coil circuitry & still getting a spark????????? the attached diagram shows what's connected (apart from the loom & the redudant Red/White to 4 wire)....logic tells me that it's obvious it will complete the circuit as is but how do I interupt it via the ignition?

What ignition switch are you using? You need to find which of the ignition switch wires, connect to the one with the ring terminal when the key is in the off position. Connect that wire to the CDI via loom green and earth the ring terminal.

I'm using a scootrs ign switch & it does have the Green connected via a bullet connection to a black earth wire....this I presume therefore should be earthed on the control rod clamp?...thanks for the reply
