Just put on the variotronic flywheel when nut is hand tight & marginally tightened spins fine but when done up (& not to full torque) it is locked solid & seems to be fowling on the centre boss of the stator plate, initially I considered maybe the crank wasn't fully home but this is doubtful as had problems with the mag housing fowling on the crank which was solved by putting a slightly thicker gasket on.....anyone else had this problem or any ideas?

Problem solved....in my quest for ease I used allen bolts to secure the stator, this is what was causing to fouling....sorted
