Hi, just about to order some new rear brake shoes and was wondering what are curerently reconned to be the best? I have the choice of GP and Li type brake cams, which is best? Also, I notice that some of the shoes offered by various dealers on ebay have removable metal pads, what's that all about, good or bad

cheers

removable steel pads are good ,those that have fixed cam pads are junk when the pads are worn ...although its often just down to service intervals and keeping the cam arm greased up ..
