gear box oil

what oil should i use for t5 172 mallosi,ive got some st90 for the lammy

You could use that if you want to f@@k your clutch I guess, or you could use the proper stuff, which is SAE30

Hi Tosh,
you should use sae30 oil fill up to level m8 i always fit just a touch more in might see you on the midweek ride i presume the clutch is ok now i have some in the garage give us a bell if you need it m8

hi ian might give u a ring mate,found some sae30 but not enough,also ta donnie for the reply but if we use st90 in the lammy`s
what`s the diff with the vespa clutch that we will as you say f@@k it up..

250/275ml of 30sae. Easiest way to fill your casings with oil is with a syringe. If you have already removed the oil, sometimes it may take a little less, as there will be oil still inside the engine. I use Rock Oil.

ta Glscoot for that,i`ve just put about 275ml into an oil can the one`s with a long brass thin neck
got of my dad years ago comes in very handy at times.

I have one of those cans to, is it red by any chance. 100ml syringe is still easier.

Hi Tosh glad you are sorted might see you wednesday m8 i use a small oil can to fill my vespa its orange in colour

Syringe is still so much more easier.
