great work frank ,how are you mounting the sprocket on the back wheel? if you are thinking of using the three studs and solid mounting it its not strong enough, as ive found with my gas gas engined 4stroke ,theres alot more torque in these engines as oppose to something like an lc ,i solid mounted mine and ripped the sprocket off the 3 studs within 3miles of roads use ,ive made a cush drive system and works a treat ,im not trying to teach you how to suck eggs frank just speaking from experence and may save you from destroying a wheel or worse ....

Thanks for your advice but I beg to differ done loads of scoots with this hub have never had a problem have a look on website http://www.lambrettainnovation.co.uk
Every S6 on website (20 ish motorcycle engined conversions ) uses the same hub as fitted to this scoot never had a problem even with the 500 cc scoots and the Hauseberg 400 four stroke . Did you build this scoot originaly? as I remember did you or its original purchaser not have problems with your original back wheel and approach me for advice, With respect to your speaking from experience how many motorcycle engined scooters have you actualy built from scratch yourself ;) I think the issues you had in the past with your rear wheel as discused previously with me either by you or a previous owner lies with its original design and builder . never fitted a cush drive totaly unescercary never will.
