Rebuilding a pretty standard series 2 motor and need new engine mounts. Is there a real difference between series 2 and series 3 mounts with a standard motor? Obviously would need another bolt but I'm trying to keep as orig as poss.
Thanks.
Series 2 engine mounts.

standard short mounts= more rigid engine but possible increase in vibrations.
Longer mounts= more engine movement but less vibration.
Generally a trade off between slightly better handling with the engine mounted more rigidly, and a decrease in transmitted vibes but more movement in the engine unit
