No, not in my opinion. Having tested the Franspeed on a TS1 back-2-back against many other pipes, I'd say you have got the pick of the bunch for overall performance. The only reason to change would be if you wanted less power and a more sedate ride.....

I have a similar set up, but with the JL road pipe. I was considering an NK as the stainles JL keeps rattling itself to bits (had to have it welded 3 times now). Its a toss up between a 'normal' steel JL and an NK, but all i have to go on is the scootering write up.

Can anyone shine any light on my dilema?

p.s. sorry to hijack your thread Ian

For my part I run an NK, good power, not expensive, fitted well and after 18 months still intact, bit on the noisy side though.

Hi Boonyed, i had jl3 on my scooter before the franspeed race i found it was good low down but ran out of power at about 7000 revs. the franspeed revs well onto about 8500 i did have a sx200 gearbox but changed to the li150 box made a big difference as well.stainless steel pipes don't seem to go as good as a mild steel. the franspeed is a dear pipe but well worth it.hope you get sorted m8 i'm sticking with my franspeed. check out the dyno page to see what people are using.
