Hi, hoping to get my TS1 fired up in the week or so and can't wait any more for the arrival of one of the new clubmans. I have a Sito Ancillotti and a JL TS1 stub so was wondering how bad would the ancillotti be if I did some home adaption? would be ok ish for some shaking down/running in whilst the wait for one of the new ones continues?

Any thoughts appreciated 8-)

Spoke with Phillip of Scooter Center Koln at the Antwerp custom show. They had a sample big box MB BGM clubman there. Looks good enough to paint up in hi temp clear. Phillip said they dynoed one on a TS1 last week and got 28 bhp with a curve that matched the MB DevTour, but much quieter.

Cheers guys, I'll be using the Ancillotti for the time being. I got an email from MB today telling me their new clubmans are a week to 10 days away. I still fancy the Ron Moss one though, I like the fact that the down pipe has a flair just like a proper expansion. I will therfore wait a bit longer.

I spoke with Ron yesterday and he, like the rest of us, are simply waiting for JL to supply the pipes that have been on order for month, and month, and months. Even though I held the pre-production pipe in my hands at Euro Lambretta last year (was on Andy F's stall) and the pipes have been on order ever since, I did once joke that there was a concern that I would not be able to use one on my Euro scoot for this year's event! That 'joke' is fast becoming a reality!

Ron and Andy must be pulling their hair out as they've had these on order for so long, yet no pipes have been delivered! As a purchaser of a number of JL pipes from different sources, I know that I'll be happy with the build quality, and I'm happy with Ron's design and performance output... but this situation frustrates me that JL simply are not pulling their fingers out and making the sodding things :!:

JL's duration of production will have lost, and continue to lose, sales for both Ron and Andy (no fault of theirs)... not good

Clause in the contract for financial recompense, you'd hope.

Not sure why JL can't just say they will be ready on a certain date instead of all the faffing around. As has already been said I feel for Ron and Andy, as they will be as eager as every one else waiting for them to turn up until then Avanti kit 129 sits on the bench
