In the middle of collecting all the parts to build a nice fast road/tourer, parts ive got so far are;
Polini 207
Polini 23/64 up gear
T5 fourth
Cosa 2 clutch 23t 9 (banded)

I planning on running this set up with a Revoler exhaust(if i can find one),im not sure what carb to run with it standard 24/24 or 28/30 mil but what i am really unshaw of is what crank to buy!
Been on the SIP site and its got loads of long stroke cranks but with all different timings and i aint got a clue which one to get i dont whant to spend more than say £150 and i dont want to go reed valve?
Any input would be greatly recieved,Thanks in advance.

if youve got a standard crank, cut that to suit, cheapest option. carb? the old 30mm delly is your best bet, or the keihin/koso 30mm . i"d use the standard P200 gearbox with the Polini 207, use the T5 4th if you like, but i wouldnt bother with the up-gear kit. pipe? there must be something cheap going to get you......going!

cut the standard crank then long stroke it 60mm, carb 30mm delly, pollini barral but put a mallosi piston in with packer speak to harry barlow pro porting you wont be dissapointed. i ran a revolver exhaust with this set up

Thanks for all the replys,cant really be fooked to go down the cutting/re rodding/welding pin etc as ive be offered the choise of two off the shelve cranks for what anit alot of money to be honest :) The drama im having is which one out of the two to go for to suit the engine im after :?:
First up is a Pinasco,disc valve 60 stroke with 110 rod 16mm pin and the timing is 123/6 degree post TDC (AS CLEAR AS MUD)

Second is a Tameni, all the same as the Pinasco but 112/6 degree TDC.

Once again Thanks ;)

Was thinking of putting a P2 lump in my T5 and going for longstroke. How much did the crank cost to get done or do you have to buy the bits seperate.

Cheers for reply matey ;)
