How easy is it to blank the toolbox door on a Series 2, how is it done, and can it be easily reversed?

not easly done and reversable if you want to do it properly as you would often weld in the lid after removing the lips .

I just did a few tack welds to secure it and then filler...
Reversing it would probably not be an iption..
