I've got a px125 engine, going into a vbb sportique, and need to sort out the electrics?
The stator has 5 wires:
GREEN TO 'G' ON CDI
RED TO 'R' ON CDI
WHITE TO 'W' ON CDI
BLUE TO ?
BLACK TO?

The vbb loom has:
RED
GREEN -
YELLOW - previously taped off
YELLOW/BLACK - previously taped off
GREY -

Also:
BLUE TO STOP LIGHT FROM REAR BRAKE SWITCH
BLACK TO REAR LIGHT

Regulator:
G -
G -
R -

I should also add, the vbb 150 engine that was removed had been converted previously to 12v electronic with bajaj kit. So switches bulbs ad horn will be ok for 12v.

I should also add, the vbb 150 engine that was removed had been converted previously to 12v electronic with bajaj kit. So switches bulbs ad horn will be ok for 12v.

If it has previously been converted then every thing should be in place to connect to the reg. Stator blue to one of the reg G's, loom AC feeds to the other G. Although I believe, the loom red is the ignition cut out wire on the VBB, and this should go to the green on the CDI.

Is the reg you have definitely G,G,R, or G,G,A? as I don't think I've come across one of them.

You're right, it's A not R! Thanks for advice. The difficult bit for me is where the wires from the loom now go? They were going to the seperate 'bajaj' CDI, but now I have a Vespa CDI/HT coil.
