Spanish series 2 el-tigre seat owners.

The central spar ( that the front 2 coil springs fit on to on the seat frame) is welded at a different height on either side on my seat?. Hard to tell if this is factory finish bodge, or has been repaired in the past. The question is that should the spar be welded almost at the bottom of the the frame, or about half way up on both sides?
