anyone had 12v coming out of the earth on a regulator before??

No, maybe wired 'wrong' : 12v out of Terminal 2 as well? If so then it's shorted and 'dodgy' (unless you wired T2 to the frame and then metered the earth that is)

Er....one end of the lighting coils is connected to earth at the stator and also one side of the regulator output so I would be suprised if I DIDN'Tdepechediki wrote:anyone had 12v coming out of the earth on a regulator before??

If you haven't got the earth of it connected (which you can't have), then you should measure voltage from it.depechediki wrote:anyone had 12v coming out of the earth on a regulator before??
