jumping out of 2nd gear

scoot keeps jumping out of 2nd gear would that be my endplate shim to small

Whats the condition of the sliding dog like?

ive just rebuilt the engine with a new uprated spring and new balls .sliding dog is ok only thing differant is endplate shim old one was 2.6mm but very worn new one is 2.4mm . or maybe ive put a gear in wrong way around
im hoping to get a 5 speed box soon im sure it will be the day after i sort the 4 speed one

haha martin mine was doing that on my rebuild but you know i put 4th gear in the wrong way
ive got loads of shims in the shed do you know what size you need and will have a look
