Spark on plug, spark from ht lead. Green wire off, green wire on. Carb cleaned, bowl full of fuel. Air filter off, throttle open and no spitback of fuel, my hand is bone dry and so is the plug, also tried different plug.

Any suggestions?

Go through the basics first.

Fuel is flowing through the tap and in to the carb? (dry makes me think it's a flow problem from the tap or the tank is empty)
Compression?
You said it has spark, correctly gapped?

I know it sounds elementary but it's the easy s**t we tend to over look. Just think of how many coils were swapped out because someone forgot to turn the key to the on position. I know someone who switched to an electronic because they didn't realize they had run out of gas!

Was the different plug a new one?

Does it fire at all?

If it's got a reed valve check your petals.

open carb slide, pour some neet fuel down the hole, choke on , ignition on, hand over carb, and belt fook out of the kickstart. if its got compression and a spark, it"ll fire. warm plug with a Zippo, and use new fuel....

Stripped carb to the core and it started when rebuilt. Then did start, then didn't. Repeat to fade.

I'll start it first thing from Stone cold and hope its ok.

Cheers for replies.
