Some very interesting information on there especially the Nasa site, threadlock effective up to 450 degrees at best....bit of a waste of time using it on exhaust studs/nuts then

"For example, conventional spring lock washers are no longer specified, because it has been shown that they actually aid self loosening rather than prevent it."
