clutch - yet more questions

Someone else on here is asking about upgrading a clutch etc.
A bit like most of the responses, on my other bikes (including standard TS1), always got by with std 4 plates and stronger springs. (Usually the big centre spring).
Anyway now building a big RB engine, so thinking of needing something stronger.
So questions :-
1. The more plates means the more grip / friction, hence less likley to slip (Correct ?)
2. Stronger springs needed to hold said plates in place (Correct ?)
3. Is there any relationship with spring strength relative to number of clutch plates ?
Next bit.........I have a hydraulic clutch converted side case I'm thinking of using. But the hydraulic plunger thing, is much wider than the standard bronze bush, so won't work with the likes of an AF cassette type clutch.
I do by chance have a couple of the older 6 plate clutches, that use packers.
So question here is, has anyone experimented with thinner clutch plates and steels to make it more than a 6 plate (any views ?)

next question........If using clutch with packer, does the crankcase side come off the scooter when the engine is still in the scooter, and using studs and nuts to secure case side (rear strut probably in way). Don't really want to use bolts, but guess might have to, to get around this issue.
Final question, anyone used a hydraulic clutch with the hidden reservoir behind headset ? Will the hydraulics make any differnece if the top end is still cable ? (don't want an ugly reservoir on headset
