Which Clutch

I'm looking to upgrade the clutch on my Mugello 186. I don't want a heavy lever and don't want to spend a fortune.
All recommendations based in actual experience really appreciated.

What's the rest of the gearbox?
I'd recommend a four plate with good plates and big springs. That's what my GT runs, and it's fine.

As Mutley said - you could probably manage without the stronger springs with a decent set of plates.

Running Indian gp150 gearing so 4th is bit tall. Current clutch is starting to slip and hasn't been changed for god knows how long but thousands of miles.

So if it's been good so far and now starting to slip I assume you've adjusted the clutch cable already and it's still slipping?
If so and the plates do need changing then I'd just replace like for like if its done good service thus far personally. Im running a muggy 186 too and have a standard surflex set up with vespa springs over the normal lammy ones. Been good for years so far.
