Brilliant result. Any welding done to casings to prevent usual swiss cheese cracks appearing? Lardy casings don't like power.....lol

nice dyno graph,i like the tabletop tq figure

very much like a lambretta franspeed race characteristic , on pipe at 5200 /peak at 8400

what pipe was used / carburettor size

only welded to strengthen up the weak points , mmw reed block with v force reeds , 38 mikuni , and new exhaust from Germany . The last few months he,s been trying out different off the shelf exhausts and this new one has really made it work with his exhaust port design .

I would be interested to also know that although i presume its of a shorter tuned length than many of the after market ones ..designed only for std motors
thing is ,and what has always held me back in producing more powerfull tuned vespa 200 motors is the fact that the casings just cant handle it ,seen so many that have just cracked and broken up before .
and also many other probs like the clutch .
30bhp on a modified and tuned vespa P200 is megga impressive in bhp terms of cause ,but for how long ?

I would not say shorter but has more dynamic angles with more volume. You can see that from the graph. Figures are all relative but tbh a dyno jet is a nice sweep dyno if running late software... Whatever the case that's a very nice curve. As Sean says tho... Will the cases take it?

No doubt this will be very quick out on the road but how long will it last?what level of HP do you reckon is sustainable on p2 set of casings. How could the power curve be made to stay in the same shape but reduce the levels produced to a piont where it would last? ;)
