So i will need a new (better) one for the gp rb20. So which one?

S.i.l stator AF or MB flywheel
BGM stator AF or MB flywheel
Varitronic kit
Readspeed kit

So whats your thoughts pros cons etc.

I run a Varitronic on my Imola, good bit of kit, cant fault it really, has the benefit of retarding the ignition at high revs

i run varitronic with no probs, and good lights, standard flywheel 1.85 kilos which is ideal.

The Cottage restro one is there own and it has longer slots which make it ideal for use with the augusto, fitted one on a mates last week and its made it rearly crisp, starts better too.

that's good to know, I'll be needing another stator soonish and I have bought some quality bits from there before.
I have been using a Scooter Restorations kit for 7000 miles with no problems.
