Okay thoughts please. I've just returned and got a nice refurbed original Italian SX200. It currently sports a nice black Ancillotti seat per attached pic. I was intending to change that to an original style oxblood bench seat but I enjoy the lower riding position of the Ancillotti and I've seen so many pics of original SX200's with the oxblood bench and all look identical (though I agree its a very good look). I am now considering an Ancillotti in oxblood as and to the original but a bit different.
What do you think? Original look vs variety is the spice of life? Or is this exactly the essence of Lambretta owning, the opportunity to change from the original...?
Thanks
John

SX200-original style oxblood seat or not?
Deffo a personal choice,
Mate of mine has this oxblood Ancilotti on his SX200.
I reckon it looks cool:

Covers the best of both worlds

I say leave it as it is i reckon it looks absolutely perfect, the shape and colour suit it far more than the standard seat does.

Thanks for the comments guys. I would agree with Mr.G if I had that lovely original condition SX with the original seat - that's as God intended. I think I'll stick with the current seat until I fancy a change and then maybe go for the oxblood Ancillotti (with white piping perhaps...). Cheers.
