Anyone fitted SIP rims to one of the viet pepperpot disc brakes, it's got the allen head bolts, only had a quick look but the the part of the stud that fit's in the hub is a lot shorter than the SIP studs?

If they're only Allen bolts, whip 'em out and fit longer ones, I think you need 15mm longer, but stand to be corrected, oh, and get hi tensile bolts, plenty on eBay ;-)

Poor description from me

They're like a normal hub stud but with a allen head and fit in flush on the hub, here's a pick of them next to a SIP stud

I think that must be a Saigon scooter centre one Mac. Sterling use std studs. I've got a feeling the disc doesn't fit inside the SIP Rim without machining the outer edge which I personally wouldn't be keen on doing.

Cheers Martin, I've not had a look at it properly yet, I just got one of the studs out to see if they we're the same thread etc as the SIP and standard ones, I'll check to see if the rim will fit, if it does I'll get the SIP studs turned down a bit.

I get lots of spam emails with pills and lotions for sale that can make the small stud look like the big one in only 4 weeks.

b@5t@rds won't give me my money back though.
