Hi
Rather than keep the pics going on show us you scoots , thought I'd better out it in here as its going to end up a resto .
Stripped out headset for cleaning and a little love discovered the old switch housing unit had been butchered by a Previous owner no little screw locating holes left so went to evil bay and bought a replacement one in its plain state , spent a bit of time and polished it to match the opposite side I'd done previously .shiny pic below
Image
Also stripped out fork springs and linkage for new parts and decided to add a set of fork dampers , a little searching on the net came up with the relevant position so dressed primed forks measured and welded into position

Ready for paint now next week .

Junglemod, I don't know how to tell you this but that switch housing is knackered. The hole for the pivot is elongated. You might be able to save it by using an oversize pin. Or possibly get it welded up and drilled out.

Good luck with it. Don't forget it's Worcester Parts Fair tomorrow as well if you're interested.

Hi chris
Yes mate thanks did see the add in scootering , unfortunately I'm also doing a refurb on my karmann ghia cabrio at the same time as the li , and I've removed all the front beam at present for a narrowed one trying to get that done for end of march too !!!

Cheers for the info though
Steve

Hi mate
Looks like they are installed but I've only tied them onto damper lugs with a bit of welding wire so they don't get lost before it all goes to paint , think its also angle I've taken the pic at.
Cheers for the nudge though ill be needing some info as I go along ..
