parmakit 130 reedvalve

i have just bought a parmakit 130 reedvalve with a inlet for a 25mm carb for a small frame 
(looks like it will do 80mph just sat in its box), although i wont be using it on a vespa. what can be done to improve performance and is there anything to watch out for with these kits. cheers simon
