I am moving from tv200 gearing to gp200 . The chain looked slightly loose on the front sprocket.....then I remembered I have a 46 tooth rear sprocket. Do I get a 47 tooth or would an 81 pitch chain do?

Just checked the bible it's an 81 stretch I need :bouncyeng:

You could always use the Push down type chain tensioner allows you to use a decent new chain rather than a used /stretched one

Something like this...then use a new 82 link chain

what motor and pipe is it for scott?

Aye jeff its for the avanti and one day itll have a mb clubby or RM clubby whichevers available first the barrel/ pistons away getting a reed valve matched etc to stop the spitback. the push doon fellas looking likely.



ron ill be in touch for a avanti gasket set.

Let us all know how you get on with the reed valve and any mods to piston.

try 19x46 with the GP 200 box, and 82 link chain, will give 4.8 ratio, if thats gannin in ya series yin, that should pull canny.
