Disc Conversion Hub binding when tightened. HELP!

Hello all,
I'm having a ScootRS disc hub fitted to a set of PK forks. It all looks great but when the hub nut is tightened up it all binds up. Has anyone else had a similar problem? The obvious culprit is crap Vietnamese manufacturing but they must have sold hundreds of the things and if they were all unusable the internet would be full of horror stories. Are all suspension arms the same? SIP only list one 20mm type and according to them, it fits everything from PKs to Cosas to PXs and everything in between.
HELP!

The early PX's had a 16mm spindle and a different centre nut fitting Frankie. It was changed in early 80s I think to the 20mm.

How well did it fit around the circlip? I've not seen it myself but as I understand it, the hub carrier covers up the groove.
(Sorry, It's hard to explain without seeing it myself)

I have sent the pictures to your email address, did you get them and do they help. It's not very easy to take decent pictures of that area.

Had another look at the picture. Check the disc bolts are tightened securely, don't use loctite. Also check the bolts for any scoring or friction marks. You may have put the hub on to far.

Got your pics. Thanks for that. I think it must be a manufacturing fault. The guy fitting it is a mechanical genius who's been working on vespas since the late 1950s. If he thinks it's wrong then he's probably right. He's going to try and fix it but if he can't get it to work i'll try a beedspeed one or failing that get a second mortgage and buy a Grimeca one.

Scootrs, sell the 16mm. Do you think they have sent you that one instead of the 20mm. It's pretty difficult to work out what's wrong when you can't see it. If you go for the beedspeed one, you don't need to buy the hydraulic system & you may not need the calliper. It's worth asking.
