If you have the active sensor, which I believe you do, you don't need the magnet. The sensor will pickup a bolt head moving past and the bolts that hold the disk to the hub are ideal for this. The official bracket to mount the sensor is this one:

You can see it in action on Edens scooter in this post
http://scooterotica.org/forum/viewtopic ... 4&start=10
and you could probably fit it so the sensor goes through the lower hole in your caliper bracket to pick up the disc bolts.
Now you have gone down the sensor route, not only can you get rid of the speedo cable but also the speedo drive housing and gear (using a suitable spacer to replace the housing to keep everything lined up). I did on mine and I like the cleaned up look.

Well you may not have needed a bracket, I didn't, I made my own.
Don't know what my BGMs are set to, whatever they were when I got the scooter

Resurrecting this as I've fitted the speedo using the cable, interested in using the active sensor I have. I understand the hub end using bolts or magnets, but how do you set the speedo itself for this input, and whether using 1 magnet or 4 studs etc.?
