The control rods for series 2,s seem to come in two lengths, 320mm &310mm. Are the longer ones for italian/Spanish and the 310 for indian or the other way round or completley wrong..... :?

Syd, without wading thru the drifts to the worko, I'd go for the longer sort, as you may be confusing the two lengths, as the shorter rods could be the S3 versions

I'm going to assume you don't have the old ones to measure :-)

It does seem odd, I thought that S1/2 rods were all the same personally but then when you get into remade stuff it can introduce too many variables.

Easiest thing Id think is simply ring allstyles and ask them to be honest.

Yeah you may be right. Thing is I really wanted to get the headset internals of the series 2 spot on as sloppy gearchanges are a bug bear of mine. Have an SX headset on other scoot with wrongs rods that have to be drilled and it does my head in... :(
