building my ts1 and its going to be very standard.
Ive got a choice of Fresco pipes to use early 2 piece and later 3 piece bigger bore.
What can i expect from these pipes
cant find any info on AF's site other than the ts1 they ran on it did 92 mph.

I had a fresco on my TS200 yrs ago with the 34 amal.This was a good setup and it did what some seem to think is not achievable and that's pull 4.8 two up. It's not going to give you the highest HP reading on the dyno but certainly gave a good spread of power and had no reason to doubt it didn't top out at over 80mph.

hes tellin the tooth i know cee i was on me pk 50 and i was keepin up with him till he got to 75 then i was flat out an ee left me; ifin only I was on me p200e

Agree with soosh i ran a fresco on my TS1225 for years with amal - all as AF specified

I always remember it as a good all rounder - i ran GP200 box with 19/46 (still do)

its still in the garage - i am considering using it on my new TS1

is this the 48mm pipe with the tubular down pipe, not sections and bolt on end can?
will Also be running 34mm amal so may need some jetting advice

Mine was the original two piece,no bolt on muffler.Sounded great too..

same as soosh - older 2 piece with welded tailpipe

the pipe is just the same - tubular u bend with a welded plate stub - the only difference is the bolt on tail pipe

this set up was my first TS back in 1989 and it was great (rose tinted specticles ?) - jetted the carb as per their spec and it never skipped a beat

I,ve got four Fresco,s.
three are early types one is later type, bolt on can

Number One. is an under-kick start pipe with the welded on can(stamped fresco) with curclip and the additional cap to stop water getting into the pipe. 42mm internal diamater down pipe with double skinned slip joint with springs

Number two. is chrome over kick start smaller welded on can stamped fresco with some type of logo. the body has been cut and welded similar to a ralph saxelby reverse cone with a fixing for the lower suspension mount. 38mm internal diamater down pipe with clamp joint.

Number three is a three piece, bolt on Can 44mm downpipe clamp joint.

Number four is an up and over race pipe, didnt measure this as it didnt look standard.
