Need a complete set of standard length decent cables for my scoot. They range from about £20.00 for indian, £26.00 for bgm to £65.00 for the incomplete set of venhill ones from Allstyles
Any thoughts as to if there really is any noticable difference between them, anyone tried any of them?
Thanks.

I've had a set of indian friction free ones on my spanish S2 now for about 4/5 years with no issues at all. Some say you don't need to grease the inners but some do. Im in the latter camp.

I've no experience of the bgm or venhill ones at all so can't really say if they are worth the money, to be fair, when I bought these indian ones they were only £16 retail, think they were a full pack at parts fairs for a tenner!! I would add the set didn't include the speedo cable.

bgm cables are good but like donnie says the indian ones are just as good.

re grease and oil, on my vega the nylon lining swelled up and rendered the cables useless when they were oiled. no idea why so i run mine dry but polish the inners with a dry cloth before use and have only replaced cables as part of servicing since the late 90s.

i would never use conventional cables again
