Exhaust leak

Just got my cutdown nearly finished and have been running it up and down my road and have noticed that I have oil leaking from the exhaust slipjoint.

Want to know wether I should put some exhaust sealer on the joint but am thinking that would make the slipjoint not work.
Any ideas? :?:

you can buy rubber sleeves(that dont melt) from the likes of readspeed and probably off fleabay,i use silicone sealant before i assemble it,,dosnt go hard and can be pulled apart easily

Sorry should have said, the one between the U bend and the box, behind the splash plate
