Spaq [Sterling] offer the kit in 2 versions, one has the Nissin master cylinder and caliper and the other one has the "copy" types m/c and caliper. This looks like the latter version.
ScootRS don't offer a "copy" version just the Nissin version, hence the price of the above version.

I have one and I am very Happy with it. I replaced the hose for a braided steel one though because the supplied one looked a bit agricultural. It works nearly too well if you get my meaning its easy to lock up but it stops the scooter and there is a world of difference between it and the old drum that was on it.

I'm not knocking the product, just pointing out the lack of stainless steel hose, painted as opposed to polished brake lever and none Nissin compared to genuine Nissin parts explains the £40 price difference.

Wouldn't it be worth paying a bit more for something like this?

Muttley,

I picked up the PM Tuning kit you linked to and it's top notch. Haven't yet installed it though so I can't comment on performance but the engineering and presentation side of things is excellent. I like the idea of having a one-piece aluminum wheel as well. Bolt-on, two piece steel rims just seem so antiquated now.

I do not try to explain why I ride Lambrettas,
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary,
For those who don't, no explantion is possible.

thanks for the replies lads, my budget has to be fairly cheap and cheerful if you know my meaning hence why i wondered if anyone had used the cheaper beedspeed kit. and by the sounds of it from diesel its just as good as the more expensive option from scoot rs with a nissan caliper. you have given me a few more things to think about while i wait for the money to come in :D tbh id love to spend a fortune and get a proper anti-dive kit on it but my scooter is powerful enough to warrant spending all that money on getting it to stop
