Series 2 steering lock

Im sure Im being thick but how do you remove the lock 
Take the top headset off ,inside you'll see a slotted screw above the lock,take the screw out,remove the alloy disc that's pressed into the casting,remove the plunger and spring then gently pull the lock out,if its tight then ease it out with a screwdriver .
