Can anyone tell me or better still show me a pic of the correct way that early indian series 2 forks/headset fit together. Im presuming there would be a chrome ring (which i havent got) but there are 2 spurs that come off the end of the tube which i think are for the steering lock? Im trying to work out where the chrome ring would go, there is a big eneough gap for one but the two metal spurs look as though they would foul it.
Thanks
Sef

the bodywork on this scooter is not a great fit, but this may give you an idea
I might need to drop the forks today, can take some more pics if I do, of course I won't just to take some photos for you

Cheers for that Jarv, in the first pic you can see the 2 metal spurs with the chrome ring going through the middle of them. I presuming thats the chrome ring painted white? The chrome ring looks as though it has a lip around the bottom edge, do you know if thats the same type of chrome ring as the italian and spanish or are indian ones different?byron wrote:the bodywork on this scooter is not a great fit, but this may give you an idea
