Hi All,
Just finishing the rebuild of my 1984 PX/EFL and i've got a couple of problems:
I have fitted a new ignition switch/steering lock to the frame and initially it seemed to fit ok, but now when I turn the key it continues to move past the three setting, 1). Steering lock, 2). Off, 3). On.

Can anyone advise what the problem could be and how to resolve.

This, apart from the petrol tap (see separate post) are the only two things outstanding on the full rebuild, so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Sounds like the barrel isn't fully home (flush with the suround where the key goes in).
Of the electrical switch on the back isn't pushed in fully.
The barrel turns the switch under the horncast which has the positions in it.

That makes sense in my head anyway :bigsm:
