Snapped conrod

This what happened yesterday to my monza 225 setup the crank was a mec 60mm with 107 rod since a whole new topend is needed do I chance using a another mec crank or go for some stronger like a bgm hpc crank???

Same thing happend to me mate comeing back from whitby this year on my ts1, first thing glad you dint come off,had the crank rebuilt at chiselspeed fitted a rb con rod and little end bearing my barrel was mb tuned sent this off to lancourts and got repaired so that is a option.best of luck with the rebuild mate

one more thing what speed were you doing cheers rob

It happened in 2nd gear I had just turned a corner in the cbd so I was only doing about 30km p/h heard a ping so I put it in neutral and pulled over.
Barrel piston and reed block are bin jobs I'm not sure if I could trust the crank if it's repairable though
