Also only seems to run with choke out. Checked the spark plug is tight which it is. Does that mean possible a loose head or a snapped ring?

Its with the metal protective cyclinder cowl on that there is a disticnt pressure of air blowing out from the hole where the spark plug goes in. Then as soon as I push the choke in, the engine dies.

That's because it's an aircooled engine and the fan blows air across the cylinder fins ,some of which escapes from the spark plug hole in the cowling. Which is unusual to be metal on a px200
If it only runs with the choke it sounds like you've got a blocked up pilot jet or carb passage , or either main seal has gone .

Its not my PX.. its a GS160. Gonna have a closer look tonight. Thanks for the advice.
