hi how do i connect a battery to my loom to test all the electrics are working
on my t5 project, want to check all is working while engine is being rebuilt

Simples, there should be some wires that WERE connected to junction box on the engibe just above and behind the fan. 2 of them shold be green and you need to ignore them. The 2 left should be brown which needs to be connected to one side of the battery and the other (earth wire possibly black?) should be connected to the other side of the battey. Make sure you put a fuse in one leg.
